Terms of Grippy Use
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF GRIPPY POLEWEAR USE
Grippy Polewear has been specifically designed for pole athletes and artists, offering a combination of grip, comfort, and flexibility. While Grippy products assist with grip during pole practice, they should not be the sole method of support during movements. Always rely on additional grip points, such as hands, legs, and other body parts.
Assumption of Risk
By using Grippy Polewear, customers acknowledge that they do so at their own risk. It is the user's responsibility to take all necessary safety precautions. Divinity Polewear is not liable for injuries resulting from improper use of Grippy products. Pole athletes should always use spotters (such as a trained pole instructor) and safety mats to prevent injury when performing difficult or new moves.
Safety Advisory
Although uncommon, friction burns—similar to those experienced from using aerial silks—can occur. Check your skin frequently during the first few uses of Grippy Polewear, especially around areas where the garment may be of a looser fit. If you notice any redness, irritation, or discomfort, stop using the product immediately.
DO's
- Be mindful when transitioning into pole moves to ensure all grip points are secure before releasing other support, such as your hands.
- Use Grippy Polewear for movements you are confident in performing and understand all required grip points.
- Inspect your Grippy Polewear regularly for signs of wear and tear. Replace the product if the grip begins to deteriorate.
DON'Ts
- Avoid using Grippy Polewear for high-abrasion skills, combos, or drops, as these may damage the grip.
- Do not attempt new or advanced pole moves using Grippy Polewear unless you are confident in the execution, even with a spotter.
- Do not use Grippy Polewear if it is wet or if the pole is wet.
- Do not use Grippy Polewear on poles made from materials other than chrome, steel, or brass, as it can increase risk of friction burn.
Important Note: Pole dancing is inherently a high-abrasion activity. Over time, the grip material will naturally wear down in areas of high use. If your product shows significant wear after only a few uses, and you have followed all usage guidelines, please reach out to us at info@divinitypolewear.com.
